Do you have a technical background and do you enjoy combining it with customer contact? Then you might be the person we’re looking for.
As a technical sales officer, you translate customers’ technical questions into accurate and feasible quotations. You work closely with production, engineering and sales to provide customer-focused solutions that are technically sound.
You will join a growing organization where collaboration, quality and technical expertise are key.
Your responsibilities
- Analyse customer enquiries and assess technical feasibility
- Create products/items in the ERP system (material types, dimensions, machining/processing operations, etc.)
- Prepare, follow up and discuss technical quotations with customers
- Ensure the technical accuracy and completeness of quotations
Work closely with engineering, production and sales
Who are we looking for?
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g. electromechanics, materials) or equivalent experience
- You understand manufacturing processes and can translate customer needs into technical solutions
- You work accurately, analytically and with a strong customer focus
- You communicate fluently in Dutch, French and English
- Experience in an industrial B2B environment and/or technical sales is a plus
