As a Process & Manufacturing Engineer, you act as the right hand of the Production Manager at our specialized plant in Ronse. You’ll combine technical support, process optimization and team coordination in a high-mix, niche manufacturing environment involving rubber coating, PU coating and CNC machining.
You work closely with 25 operators in a 2-shift setup and take over operational responsibility when the production manager is absent.
Your responsibilities
- Daily support of the production team on the floor
- Analyzing OEE and identifying opportunities for optimization
- Leading or supporting continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, 5S...)
- Monitoring and presenting data via MES, Excel and Power BI
- Providing technical support in coating and machining processes
- Acting as operational lead during the production manager’s absence
- Liaising with QA, maintenance, customer service and supply chain
Your profile
• Degree: Industrial Engineering (Electromechanics, Chemistry or related)
• Strong analytical skills combined with a hands-on mindset
• Fluent in Dutch and English – French is a plus
• Comfortable working with digital tools and production data
• Experience with polymers, coating or production processes is a bonus
• Open to both junior and experienced profiles
