Are you detail-oriented, practical, and interested in technology?
At Hannecard, we’re looking for a Mechanical Fitter who enjoys keeping things organized.
You’ll work closely with colleagues from Sales and Production to keep everything running smoothly.
Your responsibilities
- Disassemble and assemble mechanical components of rollers and cylinders (such as bearings, couplings, and shafts) according to technical specifications and tolerances.
- Work closely with the production department responsible for roller coating, as well as your mechanical colleagues who perform welding and turning repairs.
- Inspect components for wear or damage and fill in (digital) reports to record findings.
- Ensure accurate reassembly after coating so that the rollers are ready for customer delivery.
- Work according to technical drawings and assembly instructions.
- Be willing to operate a forklift & overhead crane when required.
Who are we looking for?
- Qualification in a technical field (preferably mechanics).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical assembly or a similar role.
- Welding or turning experience is an advantage.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Able to work independently and take initiative when needed.
- Accurate, detail-oriented, and precise in working according to tolerances.
