Hannecard is looking for a mechanic who enjoys working on industrial rollers. In this role, you ensure that all mechanical components are correctly assembled, so that the rollers are perfectly ready for delivery to the customer.
You will join a technical working environment where teamwork, quality and craftsmanship are key.
Your responsibilities
- Disassemble and assemble mechanical components of rollers and cylinders (such as bearings, shafts and couplings) in accordance with technical specifications and tolerances
- Work closely with the production department responsible for the roller covering, as well as with mechanical colleagues performing welding and turning repairs
- Inspect components for wear or damage and report deviations to the responsible supervisor
- Ensure accurate final assembly after the covering process, so that the rollers are ready for delivery
- Work based on technical drawings and assembly instructions
- Operate a forklift when required
Who are we looking for?
- You have a technical diploma, preferably in mechanics, or equivalent experience
- You have at least 5 years of experience in mechanical assembly or a similar role
- Knowledge of welding or turning is an asset
- You can communicate fluently in Dutch or French or English
- You work independently and accurately, with strong attention to detail and respect for tolerances
